If you have a 3D printer mounted with ChromaHead, you can connect it to your ChromaPad with KCM.The ChromaPad is also can manage up to 8 printers That mounted with ChromaHead or any stock printer. ΒΆ Adding Printer with KCM to ChromaPad That Mounted with ChromaHead
- Access the Mainsail via typing the IP address of ChromaPad to the searchbar of any browser. And then click on "Settings" symbol on top-right corner.
- In the settings, click on "PRINTERS". And then click on "ADD PRINTER".
- Type the ChromaPad IP address to the "hostname" section. And then type "7126" to the "Port" section. after all done, click to the "ADD PRINTER".
- Click on "PRINTERS" on top-right corner and switch to secondary printer.

- Turn off the ChromaPad. Plug out the power. Put the splitter between ChromaPad and KCM.

- Connect the second printer to the ChromaPad with USB.

- Enter the "printer.cfg" file in "MACHINE" for secondary printer. You can switch between printers on top-left corner.
- Click on "DEVICE" on the top. Determine the serial path of your secondary printer and copy it. Then paste it to serial section in "mcu". Please click on "SAVE & RESTART" after pasting the path.
Do not forget to click on "SAVE & RESTART".
- Connect the KCM to your Chromapad via Type-C cable.
- Click on "DEVICE" on the top. Determine the serial path of your KCM and copy it. Then paste it to serial section in "[mcu cp_kcm]". Please click on "SAVE & RESTART" after pasting the path.
Do not forget to click on "SAVE & RESTART".
- Connect the ChromaHead to KCM with ChromaHead Connection cable.
- Click on "DEVICE" on the top in chroma_head.cfg. Determine the serial path of your ChromaHead and copy it. Then paste it to serial section in "[mcu cp_Head]". Please click on "SAVE & RESTART" after pasting the path.
Do not forget to click on "SAVE & RESTART".
- Click on "cp_macro.cfg" for secondary printer. Switch "printer_1_data" to "printer_2_data". Then click on "SAVE & RESTART".
