The assembling of the ChromaHead to your printer is achieved with the metal back plate specially designed for sigma profile printers. For non-sigma printers, assembling can be easily done using the designed parts without any modifications.
To attach ChromaHead to different types of 3D printers, additional printing parts are required. Click here to examine the parts.
For example, if we take the Ender 3 V2 device, we will explain the steps you need to follow in order:
Loosen the X-axis belt located on the right side of your printer.
Remove the extruder from your printer and seperate the PTFE tube.
Remove the screw at the back of the head.
Remove the hotend section using an M2 Allen key.
Separate the belts at the bottom from the printer's own head metal plate.
Use pliers to remove the screws with an M4 Allen wrench, and be careful not to lose the screws.
Attach the screws and wheels that come with the metal plate from the ChromaHead, but do not tighten them.
Place the metal plate onto the rail and attach the belts.
Tighten the screws. If there is any wobbling, use a wrench to tighten the inner screw on the lower wheel.
Then, use the 3 ChromaHead screws from the box to place the ChromaHead in position and tighten the screws.
And it's ready to use.
