¶ Extruder
Inside the ChromaHead, the modular extruder mechanism provides superior torque and gripping capability compared to other toolheads. This mechanism is easily removable and installable, allowing for straightforward maintenance in case of clogging issues.
¶ Filament Cutter Mechanism
The filament cutter mechanism, engineered to prevent filament swelling and facilitate easy filament changes, utilizes a DC motor for faster cutting.
¶ ChromaHotend
The ChromaHotend, located behind the filament cooling fan, supports high flow rates and can be easily removed and reinstalled using standard connection screws. Developed in collaboration with Phaetus, the ChromaHotend is specifically optimized for color printing, ensuring exceptional performance.
¶ Probe
Probe in the ChromaHead gives better results for bed calibrating and there are no need to manual leveling.
¶ 8 in 1
The 8 in 1 component on the ChromaHead, which can be easily removed and reattached, allows for the convenient use of up to 8 filaments. In the event of a filament jam, it can be simply disassembled to resolve the issue.
¶ Part Fan
The part fan on the cover of the ChromaHead creates a better print surface and significantly reduces stringing issues due to its powerful airflow.
